My son

From deep within the earth
rose a creature
with the thirst for blood
and devoid of mercy.
Oh! We prayed to Her!
Have benevolence
And destroy it.
She said, ”He is also my son “.
One by one mauling everything
in its path, it held sway all over.
The earth shook with violent fury
As she destroyed the creature.
She said-
with tears in her eyes
and a divine smile
“ It was my son”.
