Crown of Thorns

One more whiplash as I falter
Strange, this burden seems lesser,
Than the burden of the poor.
Betrayed by my friend - so will they say,
Alas!!! I understand your pressures my friend.

I did not seek crowning glory,
Yet I have this crown eating into my head.
Nail after nail pierces my body,
I see my mother desolate and my father shattered.

One final spiteful thrust.....
Will a thousand lives like mine
Cleanse your souls?

So that people could benefit time and again

What if moments of bravery and valor

Of courage Of sacrifice could be framed

So that the dear ones could witness and be proud again

What if moments of oneness

Of being One Of being lost could be eternal

So that we are in that state forever

This is the moment,

Of love, Of care, Of Joy, Of hope,

Of sacrifice, Of service, Of bravery, Of tears,

Revel in this moment, we will not get this moment back again !!!
