My Poems

This page contains my poems. A poem is more than mere words.Writing a poem is a mystic experience taking the poet into an unknown realm within him.

FORLORN AND MELANCHOLY

Forlorn and melancholy,
sits a boy on a stone bench,
His playmates playing away,
A boy tries to awaken him,
No avail.
Another bullies him,
He merely sulks away.
Then comes a girl
glittering like a pearl
with a sweet smile
on her lips.
She sits beside him.
And the boys face brightens
And he jumps up in joy
Slowly the girl leaves
Without a word,
The boy turns forlorn
And melancholy
Forever.
